The Habit Burger Grill is anticipated to open sometime this Fall as part of the Eureka Gateway Project. The location is being opened by franchisee Akki Patel under the name of 4th Street Kitchen LLC. Patel is also CEO of LRE & Cos, the commercial real estate management and development firm spearheading the design and development in partnership with the City of Eureka.
Documents submitted to the planning commission last year indicated The Habit Burger Grill and a new Starbucks will share a lot. Habit Burger will occupy a 2,400-square-foot space with a drive-thru at 1917 Fifth St. The Eureka Planning Commission reviewed revised site plans a few months ago during its February 14 meeting.
“One of the greatest things about this project has been our partnerships,” said Akki Patel, CEO of LRE & Cos in a press release. “Our partnership with the city of Eureka and, of course, our partnership with Habit Burger. As a loyal consumer myself, I’m especially excited about the addition of this restaurant.”
According to previous coverages, the restaurant is anticipated to open in the fall of this year. What Now Sacramento reached out to Patel for comments and an updated timeframe but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
