Tasty Pot is on its Way to Davis

The popular hot pot chain is slated to open by the end of September in the former Davis Sushi Buffet space on 2nd Street.

A popular hot pot franchise is expanding to Davis. A liquor license can be found pending for a new Tasty Pot location at 707 2nd Street in the former Davis Sushi Buffet space. The franchisees are Huyen Do and Tu Vo, operating under TP Davis, LLC. Tasty Pot’s website also list the Davis location as coming soon.

According to an Instagram post, Tasty Pot Davis originally anticipated to open in mid-August and had started the hiring process. However, Do told What Now Sacramento over the phone that some back-and-forth on paperwork has delayed the opening and the team now anticipates to open by the end of September.

With over 50 locations in the US and Canada, Tasty Pot is known for authentic Chinese hot pot experience with an extensive menu serving a variety of authentic Taiwanese appetizers, boba milk teas, and desserts. The chain plans to further expand in California, with more locations planned in Redding, Vallejo, San Francisco, Irvine, Brentwood, and a few other locations. Other Tasty Pot locations near Davis include Sacramento and Elk Grove.
