Waterfront Cafe, an Eurest cafe, marked the upcoming cafe at 200 Waterfront Place as “coming soon” on its website. Building plans indicate the cafe will be placed on the corner of 3rd Street and E Street. Renderings show the cafe will be enclosed by the building’s glass walls with additional outside seatings between the building and planned tree planters.

The existing Waterfront Cafe offers a weekly rotating menu, including burgers, bowls, handhelds, soup of the day, and weekly coffee bar specialty drinks. The upcoming location will most likely adopt a similar rotating menu with different featured items each day throughout the week.

No additional information was available regarding the second cafe at 200 Waterfront. The Business Journal originally reported that the development was anticipated to be completed last Summer. Although there is no specific opening date, the group published a job post last week looking for a full-time barista.

What Now Sacramento reached out to Amber Acosta, Dir. of Dining Services for Waterfront Cafe, but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage. Another tenant confirmed for the new building is KinderCare Learning Center, a multi-location daycare chain serving children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years.
