Esmeralda’s Cafe will mainly serve breakfast food, according to partner Marco Vargas. Vargas told What Now Sacramento over the phone that the restaurant is anticipated to open by the end of September and will operate from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week once open.

Meanwhile, Seafood Craze has closed recently, according to its Yelp listing. However, the business did not make any official announcements on its website or social media pages. Some diners shared on Yelp that pricing and a lack of business may be the reason behind the closure.

Other eateries along Madison Ave in the area include Nour’s Cafe, Thai Hut, Bottoms Up Espresso, Carl’s Jr, a KFC location right next to the proposed eatery.
