Jon and Bon’s Yogurt Shoppe has closed all three area sites in Greater Sacramento. Now, a new eatery is taking over one of the chain’s former Rocklin sites at 5410 Crossings Drive, Suite 102. The 900-square-foot space has been leased out to The Grazing Goose and will serve as the brand’s first brick-and-mortar location.
The Grazing Goose has operated as a pop-up and catering service thus far, but has finally grown to the point that a physical, dedicated kitchen and storefront has become necessary. Founded by Ava Kivley, the Grazing Goose offers various pre-made boxes serving anything from a 4-person family dinner to a 20-person gathering. However, the company is probably most famous for how it has turned charcuterie into a lifestyle with its unique “boarding school” program, which spreads the art of building gorgeous and delicious charcuterie boards.
According to a recent update from the Business Journal, construction has started to renovate the space for The Grazing Goose, and Kivley hopes to open by late October or early November. The space will be mainly for pickup orders but will also provide a small seating area. In addition to the brand’s iconic boards, the menu will also include salads, sandwiches, and some baked goods.
