The popular Japanese restaurant currently operates two other locations in Roseville, and seven others in Fair Oaks, Folsom, Elk Grove, Midtown, Davis, Concord, and Arden-Arcade, respectively. The upcoming El Dorado Hills location is smaller compared to the chain’s other locations and will present a slightly modified menu to suit the intimate, setting that comes with the smaller space.

“This endeavor represents a significant milestone for us as we continue our mission of delivering exceptional Japanese cuisine and unparalleled dining experiences to communities across Northern California.” Taro Arai, owner and Chief Dream Officer (CDO) of Mikuni Restaurant Group, Inc. stated in a press release.

Mikuni’s standard menu features a wide variety of sushis, bento boxes, and donburis (bowls with toppings). The chain is also known for its customizable Dinner for Two menu that presents a full four-course dining experience. To further diversify the dining experience, Mikuni features regional special menus, currently available for the Greater Sacramento region and Concord region, according to its website.

Currently, there is no opening timeframe available for the El Dorado Hills location.
