A New Mexican Restaurant is Coming to Sacramento

Jaliscos Restaurant is filling the former Weiner Works space, bringing authentic Mexican food to the neighborhood.

A new eatery called Jaliscos Restaurant appears to be in the works at the former Weiner Works space at 5207 Madison Ave, Ste C. Owner Javier Ibarra has submitted a new fictitious business name application for the space for “Jaliscos Restaurant Authentic Mexican Food.”

Ibarra currently operates Jaliscos as a catering business for corporate and private events. The Roseville-based company serves Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Rancho Cardova, Antelope, Granite Bay, Folsom, Sacramento, Elk Grove and more, according to its website. The menu includes various tacos, special dishes like Barbacoa & Birria de res, Carne asada, pollo asado, and Fajitas, and classic Mexican drinks such as Horchata and Agua de Jamaica.

What Now Sacramento reached out to Ibarra for more details regarding the physical space but hadn’t heard back by the time this coverage was published. Other eateries in the building include Sweet Dozen donuts and Essy’s Kabob.
