According to the Business Journal, the business was sold to new owners, Sebastian and Nicole Custodia for $140,000. The new owners officially took over on Sept. 1. The Vine, located inside La Borgata center in El Dorado Hills at 3907 Park Drive, is known for the wide array of tapas and an extensive list of wine and wine cocktails, along with draft beer and mocktail options.

The Custodias relocated from Bay Area to to El Dorado Hills about a year and a half ago. Sebastian Custodia told the Business Journal that they’ve been looking to acquire a business to plant their roots in the community since they first moved. For now, they will continue to operate The Vine as is, with all employees and staff retained. Eventually, the Custodians will make changes to the establishment to grow the wine club offerings and membership.

“Our plan is to gradually make our own changes and add personal touches over time, but we also recognize that the business and community that Lisa has built is already great, so we don’t plan to make any radical changes,” Custodia told the Business Journal.

The new owners are licensing the brand from the original owner, Lisa Gomez. What Now Sacramento reached out to the new owners but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
