Located at 609 Sutter St in Folsom’s historic old town, The Vine in Folsom was the brand’s first location. The expansion will implement some major renovations for the second floor of the building, adding a new dining room, bar, and kitchen. Gomez also plans to construct a new balcony that looks over the street.
According to the Business Journal, the main goal behind the second-floor renovation is to increase the business’s capacity. The ground-floor dining room currently only has 40 seats, leading to the restaurant’s closure during special events. Once complete, the second floor will serve as a private event space and also allow overflow during busy hours. Gormez told the Business Journal that renovations will be carried out in phases and will most likely take two years to complete.
What Now Sacramento reached out to Gomez but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage. The Vine in Folsom features a rustic interior, various sharable plates, and an extensive list of wine and wine flights.
